As of March 4, 2009, the American taxpayer has bailed out American International Group (AIG) to the tune of $163 billion (assuming that the Federal Reserve and the Federal gubmint are to be believed on anything anymore).
On March 3, 2009, this exchange took place in the august and hallowed halls of what used to be known as the Congress of a Constitutional Republic:

One can only surmise Bernanke’s reasoning. He claims he doesn’t want to spook the banks and the markets or some such claptrap. I have another possible reason: Bernanke, being an Orthodox Jew, doesn’t want the American public to get any inkling of Israel’s share of the various bailouts.
AIG owns a company in Israel called Ezer Mortgage Insurance (EMI). EMI will insure/finance up to 95% of a private Israeli mortgage. Below is EMI’s nifty ad gizmo with some of the relevant text copy underneath the link. I’ve adjusted the figures to reflect current money values. Please alert me if you spot any problems with the math. (Warning – very annoying music):
EMI sets the premium as a function of the LTV (Loan To Value ratio) and the term of the loan. As a rule of thumb – for every $100,000 of a loan taken by a borrower, the borrower pays an additional $25 a month.
For example:

The drama continues.
Mr. Furious Buddha states that the Nuremberg Trial transcripts prove the existence of mass extermination by gas chamber. They do no such thing as no Holocaust historian today would ever think of claiming that gas chambers operated on German soil. Even Simon Wiesenthal said: “there were no extermination camps on German soil…”
As I stated elsewhere, many of us were taught as children that Jews were gassed to death in mass numbers in Germany. As we grew older, we then found that even though much of the narrative, proof (or lack of it) and facts of the 1960’s and 1970’s Holocaust legend had changed, we’re still expected to believe whatever is told to us about the Holocaust by the Anti-Defamation League, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (a museum about which I plan to write an entry soon), and all the other groups that have an interest in maintaining the official narrative, even though many of them have been shown to be wrong (if not outright liars) over all the years that the official narrative has been spun.
So, who am I to believe; my own common sense or a group of stories that have morphed in my lifetime into something unrecognizable from what I was originally taught?
The above question leads to another question, one which may be frightening to people like Mr. Furious Buddha:
Why do we continue to believe, without question, people that have never been very adept with the truth?

American Indian activist Russell Means said President-elect Obama was selected by the colonial powers as president to improve the US image globally in the aftermath of George Bush. Further, Means said Obama’s appointments show that he is a Zionist controlled by Israel.
Speaking on Red Town Radio today, Means said what is happening now to Palestinians is what happened to American Indians.
“Every policy now the Palestinians are enduring was practiced on the American Indian,” Means said on Red Town Blog Talk Radio, hosted by Brenda Golden, Mvskoke Creek. “What the American Indian Movement says is that the American Indians are the Palestinians of the United States, and the Palestinians are the American Indians of Europe,” Means said.
Stating that the Zionists who control Israel now control the United States, Means added, “The power of the US in world politics diminishes every day.”
“Now they have found a house servant by the name of Obama,” he said.
Obama was selected as a “man in charge to take the heat,” because of the “bad cop” image that Bush put forth in the world.
“Now, all of a sudden, it is, ‘We’re so great. We elected a black man to be president.’” Means added that Obama is a black man who was raised by his white grandmother and has appointed Zionists to key positions.
Means said the US is headed for a new era of menial jobs. On Indian lands, Means said the only people who get ahead are those who sell out to the colonial system. Means said he has been in solidarity with Palestinians for about 30 years. Now, there is massive and sophisticated propaganda by Israel and the U.S. Both countries, he said, are liars.
In the US, American Indians have been shut out of history, philosophy and the arts, in a “total blackout.” The United States does not want to be reminded of the smallpox blankets, theft, colonialism and mistreatment of the American Indian, he said.
He said most Americans do not realize that the financial collapse of this country is only beginning. Americans cannot continue the lifestyles of consumers when there is no money. Low income jobs and menial jobs are the only ones left. Health care in the US reveals how the policies used as experiments on American Indians became US policies. The US health care system is now stringent and calloused, with constant refusals of treatment. This has always been the case with the Indian Health Service. Now it is the policy of the HMOs. Family ranchers and family farmers are now in the way of progress, the same way the American Indian was once viewed. Now, family farmers and family ranchers are being gutted, because they function on massive credit. They are trying to pay back debts, which is not possible with manipulated agriculture prices.

Means said the federal government also took over education. Americans don’t even know their own history. Along with this federal control, came the passage of English-only laws in many states. However, for Indigenous Peoples it is positive to know many languages.
“If you speak two languages, you are speaking with two brains. That is the way it is to us. That’s how we look at life.”
In the mid-Twentieth Century, US schools listened to the communities and local governing boards. However, now the US educational policy has taken away local control and mandated federal guidelines. So now education has become a matter of money. Meanwhile, the real history is silenced. While the United States attempts to portray itself as a peace loving nation, the fact is the United States is at war every year. The United States breaks a host of international laws every year, which has been the pattern since 1946. American Indians were aware of what the US was doing, because the US had already broken all treaties with American Indians; treaties guaranteed by the US Constitution.
Means said there is a great deal of propaganda about why the US broke away from England. But the fact is that George Washington, the largest landowner, along with the slave owners, broke with England so that the original treaties of England with American Indians in the west would not have to be honored. The US broke with England, to invade the west and take the land.
“The US was created to break international laws,” Means said, adding that it is obvious today that this is the pattern of the U.S.
Means said the United States was initiated as an outlaw and renegade nation. Today, its imperial policies mean that Israel is a surrogate of the US, receiving aid from the U.S. With the combined US and international aid, Israeli receives $12 billion a year for its “military and the settlers in the West Bank,” he said. He said 80 percent of the people in the West Bank are paid to stay there. It is America who pays them to stay there. But even in Israel, where there is a free press, not everyone agrees with Israel’s war on Palestine. He said 20 to 30 percent of the people in Israel are against the war on Palestine.
Like the United States, Israel has been at war every year of its existence. He said Israel is often referred to as the 51st state, of warmongers and imperialists. The United States and Israel are based on lies, resulting in massive deaths in Iraq. Now, the US and Israel are focused on Iran because of its oil reserves. Indian lands have become “open air concentration camps.” “If you chose to stay on the reservation, you are guaranteed to be poor, unless you are part of the colonial apparatus set up by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, set up the United States.” On Indian lands, everyone fights to be part of the tribal governments because that is where the money is. Everyone fights to be part of the colonial system.
“The only way you can be part of the colonial system is to obey.” Those returning home to Indian lands cannot “rock the boat,” demand their treaty rights or their rights guaranteed by the US Constitution.
The American Indian Movement made people aware that the US Constitution came from the Six Nations. However, the US Constitution only includes one-third of the Great Law of Peace. If all of the Great Law of Peace had been adopted, this country would be much different and much wealthier. However, it was turned into a country of consumers. He said what you get with a country of consumers is greed.
“What is going on in Palestine is going on in America. The United States is taking away the homes of the people.”
Now in the United States, there is “communism from the right” and “right wing socialism.” He said the problem with socialism is that it is bereft of consensus and complete spirituality.
Means said he is 70 years old and has experienced the US when it reached its zenith in the world in the 1950s. At that time, America was a productive country. In the years that followed, the ruling elite sold out the unions, as the labor movement was razor thin close to taking over politics in America. The most watershed event was Brown vs. Board of Education, the US Supreme Court ruling which desegregated schools.
“The white male started losing his power.” Then, in the social revolution that followed, white males lost control of their women and their women’s vote, and lost control of the work place. While civil rights was the chosen remedy of most social movements, American Indians remained dedicated to “sovereign rights.” Individual sovereign rights.
“We are the only ones that held on to the sovereign concept.” The other social movements were saying, “Please Mr. Male let me be equal to you.”
Means said things will be different now.
“Our grandmother the Mother Earth is tired of the human race. She is going to eliminate it and I champion her, Mother Earth.”
Means said matriarchy is what Indigenous people are all about. “We know that women are the givers of life and men are the takers of life.”
“We have to follow the woman in order to gain balance.” He said in a matriarchal society, there is a balanced society, as each celebrates their strengths together. “True individual freedom has to be done by consensus, otherwise it is mob rule.”
In the US, now there are fake elections. “The people are convinced they are actually electing a president.” However, it is the Electoral College that actually selects the US president. The charade is now coming to a close, as the Patriot Act means that the Posse Comitatus is dead and buried. Means said everyone has the responsibility to be free.
“You are free to be responsible. That is the essence of freedom.”
He said everyone should know their rights. Otherwise, they are guaranteed slavery.
Means said human brains are “doped up with all this ignorance and greed.”

Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of “an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”
Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees.
According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of “all removable aliens” and “potential terrorists.”
Fraud-busters such as Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Los Angeles, have complained about these contracts, saying that more taxpayer dollars should not go to taxpayer-gouging Halliburton. But the real question is: What kind of “new programs” require the construction and refurbishment of detention facilities in nearly every state of the union with the capacity to house perhaps millions of people?
Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), “Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies,” gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to “a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order.”
The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of “terrorist” organizations, or who speaks out against the government’s policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike.
Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure “continuity of government” in the event of what the document vaguely calls a “catastrophic emergency.” Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure “continuity of government.” This could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution to launching a nuclear attack. Congress has yet to hold a single hearing on NSPD-51.
U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Venice (Los Angeles County) has come up with a new way to expand the domestic “war on terror.” Her Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (HR1955), which passed the House by the lopsided vote of 404-6, would set up a commission to “examine and report upon the facts and causes” of so-called violent radicalism and extremist ideology, then make legislative recommendations on combatting it.
According to commentary in the Baltimore Sun, Rep. Harman and her colleagues from both sides of the aisle believe the country faces a native brand of terrorism, and needs a commission with sweeping investigative power to combat it.
A clue as to where Harman’s commission might be aiming is the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, a law that labels those who “engage in sit-ins, civil disobedience, trespass, or any other crime in the name of animal rights” as terrorists. Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters … the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 “terror suspects” with the number increasing by 20,000 per month.
What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?
The Constitution does not allow the executive to have unchecked power under any circumstances. The people must not allow the president to use the war on terrorism to rule by fear instead of by law.

You’re correct. We’re all flawed jewels of Indra, each of us reflecting light in infinite arrays. The net from which the jewels depend is infinite, the number of jewels is infinite, the light bouncing from jewel to jewel is infinite. But thankfully, there is an end to our folly.
You’re correct. We don’t know each other. I had no idea that you existed until you chose to disparage me, someone you admit that you don’t know, instead of attacking my ideas. As I recall, my response was to ask you a simple question: “Why did Eisenhower, Churchill and de Gaulle fail to mention mass extermination by gas chamber in their memoirs of World War II?” In response, you chose to call me, someone you admit that you don’t know, an “insect”.
If the best response that can be mustered to a simple question is to call names, I can only assume that the answer to the question is a rather frightening one that you’d rather not address. I have much compassion for you, my Furry Buddha friend, as it indicates to me that you’re soon to experience a whirlwind change in perception. You have my best wishes that you will come through happy and whole.
And yes, Buddha, there are many people that would love to run as much of the world as they possibly can. Sometimes they band together in hyena-like gangs with scary names like The Seven Deadly WASPY Lawyers, The Bloodsucking Zionists, The Sheiks of Araby and The Toothy-Grinned Politicians. They perch in high government and corporate cliff regions with their armed retinues, swooping down upon the plains dwellers with a more frequent urgency. I always take it as a good sign when something occurs in the Media Mass that makes me smack the table with the flat of my palm and silently intone, “Those bastards!” It lets me know that the Media Mass hasn’t succeeded in its mission of turning my (and your) brain into oatmeal yet.
My most recent experience with table-smacking occurred due to an encounter with an article in Friday’s Pravda Washington Post about Obama’s director of the Office of Management and Budget, Peter Orszag: Orszag Is Economic Centrist Who Knows How to Deal
This 1100 word fluffer on Orszag failed to mention some pertinent facts one might find elsewhere:
“In 1998, after serving in the Clinton administration, Orszag co-founded an economic consulting group company with his brother and Joseph Stiglitz called Sebago Associates, where he served as president through 2007. The firm’s clients have included the World Bank, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and most notably, the Central Bank of Iceland. The once prosperous economy of Iceland has been devastated by the current economic crisis, which its citizens say was carried out by a gang of financial criminals who followed disastrous policies and advice – provided by Peter Orszag and Company.“ ( The Israeli Who Runs the Obama White House )
The article also failed to mention Orszag’s involvement with the oligarchs in 1990’s post-Soviet Russia, a period in history of which many Americans are utterly ignorant.
Unsurprisingly, the Post also neglects to mention Orszag’s two mentors, Robert Rubin and Joseph Stiglitz, each one being little more than window dressing for a predatory economic philosophy, a philosophy that is seeing its fruition in the ruination of the economies of nations so that the economy of Globalism can reign supreme.

The Zionist armies that now occupy Palestine claim their ancient Jewish prophets predicted that in the “last days of this world” their own God would raise them up a “messiah” who would lead them to their promised land, and they would set up their own “divine” government in this newly-gained land, this “divine” government would enable them to “rule all other nations with a rod of iron.”
If the Israeli Zionists believe their present occupation of Arab Palestine is the fulfillment of predictions made by their Jewish prophets, then they also religiously believe that Israel must fulfill its “divine” mission to rule all other nations with a rod of irons, which only means a different form of iron-like rule, more firmly entrenched even, than that of the former European Colonial Powers.
These Israeli Zionists religiously believe their Jewish God has chosen them to replace the outdated European colonialism with a new form of colonialism, so well disguised that it will enable them to deceive the African masses into submitting willingly to their “divine” authority and guidance, without the African masses being aware that they are still colonized.
CAMOUFLAGE
The Israeli Zionists are convinced they have successfully camouflaged their new kind of colonialism. Their colonialism appears to be more “benevolent,” more “philanthropic,” a system with which they rule simply by getting their potential victims to accept their friendly offers of economic “aid,” and other tempting gifts, that they dangle in front of the newly-independent African nations, whose economies are experiencing great difficulties. During the 19th century, when the masses here in Africa were largely illiterate it was easy for European imperialists to rule them with “force and fear,” but in this present era of enlightenment the African masses are awakening, and it is impossible to hold them in check now with the antiquated methods of the 19th century.
The imperialists, therefore, have been compelled to devise new methods. Since they can no longer force or frighten the masses into submission, they must devise modern methods that will enable them to manouevre the African masses into willing submission.
The modern 20th century weapon of neo-imperialism is “dollarism.” The Zionists have mastered the science of dollarism: the ability to come posing as a friend and benefactor, bearing gifts and all other forms of economic aid and offers of technical assistance. Thus, the power and influence of Zionist Israel in many of the newly “independent” African nations has fast-become even more unshakeable than that of the 18th century European colonialists… and this new kind of Zionist colonialism differs only in form and method, but never in motive or objective.
At the close of the 19th century when European imperialists wisely foresaw that the awakening masses of Africa would not submit to their old method of ruling through force and fears, these ever-scheming imperialists had to create a “new weapon,” and to find a “new base” for that weapon.
DOLLARISM
The number one weapon of 20th century imperialism is zionist dollarism, and one of the main bases for this weapon is Zionist Israel. The ever-scheming European imperialists wisely placed Israel where she could geographically divide the Arab world, infiltrate and sow the seed of dissension among African leaders and also divide the Africans against the Asians.
Zionist Israel’s occupation of Arab Palestine has forced the Arab world to waste billions of precious dollars on armaments, making it impossible for these newly independent Arab nations to concentrate on strengthening the economies of their countries and elevate the living standard of their people.
And the continued low standard of living in the Arab world has been skillfully used by the Zionist propagandists to make it appear to the Africans that the Arab leaders are not intellectually or technically qualified to lift the living standard of their people … thus, indirectly “enducing” Africans to turn away from the Arabs and towards the Israelis for teachers and technical assistance.

The imperialists always make themselves look good, but it is only because they are competing against economically crippled newly independent countries whose economies are actually crippled by the Zionist-capitalist conspiracy. MESSIAH?
If the “religious” claim of the Zionists is true that they were to be led to the promised land by their messiah, and Israel’s present occupation of Arab Palestine is the fulfillment of that prophesy: where is their messiah whom their prophets said would get the credit for leading them there? It was Ralph Bunche who “negotiated” the Zionists into possession of Occupied Palestine! Is Ralph Bunche the messiah of Zionism? If Ralph Bunche is not their messiah, and their messsiah has not yet come, then what are they doing in Palestine ahead of their messiah?
Did the Zionists have the legal or moral right to invade Arab Palestine, uproot its Arab citizens from their homes and seize all Arab property for themselves just based on the “religious” claim that their forefathers lived there thousands of years ago? Only a thousand years ago the Moors lived in Spain. Last week, an Israeli comedian made the following comments:

“In the popular late-night talk show, Israeli comedian Lior Shlein railed against Christian beliefs – that Mary was a virgin and that Jesus walked on water – saying he was doing so as a “lesson” to Christians who deny the Holocaust.”
I’d like to thank Lior Shlein for proving the point that many of us have been trying to make: The Holocaust is not a historical event to certain Jews and Judeo-Christians. It’s a full blown religion. As with all religions, reason, civility and civilized discourse are useless when talking to True Believers.
